Dr. Alan Bigelow & James Dean Conklin on Bright ‘n Green

Dr. Alan Bigelow is a particle-accelerator and laser Physicist at Columbia University’s Radiological Research Accelerator Facility (RARAF) in New York. James Dean Conklin works in media as a Creative Director documenting and bringing to light environmental issues. They are the founding members of solar-powered, eco-rock band Solar Punch – whose mission is to raise awareness about climate change and to promote sustainable living. Organizers of Solar Treks, they travel to resource-challenged areas holding solar cooking demonstrations and playing live.
